Welcome to My Lil’ Craft Shoppe’s lil’ home on the web!
My Lil’ Craft Shoppe is my business venture, my creative outlet, and my passion. My jewelry product line is Ak-Ses-Uh-Rees, unique and affordable handcrafted jewelry. I also run a wiki for beaders and jewelry designers (and, frankly, anyone with an interest in beads and handcrafted business) called The Beader’s Resource Guide.
I do local fairs during the year, as well as in-home shows with a few friends who also make jewelry. You can find out more about that under the “We Bead 4 You” page. Check out the “Calendar” page to find out where we’ll be next.
Since I’m a DIY kinda gal, I did a lot of my wedding planning and projects on my own. I had a tight budget but I also had a lot of thrifty ideas (plus the assistance of my creative girlfriends!) and I pulled off a very nice wedding (if I do say so myself) for $5000. That was over 2 years ago now, but I still love to share my wedding ideas, so if you’re looking for help with that please check here. Hi, I met you at St. Roman’s craft fair last weekend. I looked at the necklace you made inspired by wallpaper but ended up buying a necklace with the same colors and a similar circular motif. I;m writing because I just wanted to tell you my 8 yr old’s first reaction when I showed her the neckace. “That could be cool wallpaper!” I couldn’t believe it. Hope it makes you laugh.
